Just got back from Manila a few days ago.  I had to cut short my trip a week early because my parents wanted to come over and visit us in Singapore one last time before we move to a smaller (probably uglier) place.  As always there’s never enough time to do everything I want to do and see everyone I want to see and eat all the food I want to eat.

Speaking of pics… I saw the stuff I post processed before I left for Manila on the cover of this interior design magazine.  Ahh…  I’m never gonna trust any picture I see on a magazine ever.  In fairness, the house we took photos of was really nice but I still had to do a lot of DI.  Like I had to photoshop a ceiling fan out of the ceiling which was pretty easy to do.  The difficult part for me was turning the construction on the house next door into plants and changing the gray sky into blue and adding in clouds.  Seems pretty easy but if you have to add it behind a tree that shows a little bit of the background, it’s soo tedious… interesting but nothing spectacular.  Plus the one they put on the cover is so obviously photoshopped.  It didn’t seem that way in my monitor.  I guess I have to read up more on color calibration.
