Mind you, while I was dreaming, it felt like a nightmare coz I was having a hard time breathing.  But now that I think about it, it’s actually funny.

My dream was probably brought about by a number of factors: the pressure of having to have a decent body by December for my friend Jan’s wedding, the fact that I’m starting to feel the aging process getting the best of my metabolism, the time when I had to pick up my mom from the airport and I was waiting for her outside the cargo belts and as she walked out she looked at me, then walked to another direction and seemed to be looking for someone else.  Later she told me she actually saw me and thought it was me but then thought nah, she’s too fat to be me and dismissed me.  Plus the fact that it has happened before except that time it was my father and he was the one waiting for me at NAIA.  He was squinting and looking at me while I was walking towards him.  I was already smiling at him and he didn’t seem to recognize me.  When I got close enough, the first thing he said was “Ang taba mo.” and that he was looking hard coz he wasn’t sure if it was really me.

So here’s the gist of my dream:  I was in a bus going to the airport, then I saw my Tita who I haven’t seen for quite a while get on the bus.

I said “Hi tita!”

She said “Taba mo!”

Me (shyly):  “Oo nga eh.”

Tita: “Hindi, taba mo tumutulo!!”

And then I realized my skin burst on the side of my neck because it couldn’t hold any more of my fat and fat was oozing out of puncture on my neck the size of a piso.  I felt like a deflating blimp balloon and a melting caramel ice cream at the same time.

And all I could say was “Aaa!! Aaa!!”

Hehehe
