We decided to stay in for Valentine’s Day because my flight for Manila was 1:30 AM in the early morning the next day and I wasn’t packed yet.

This is what I was able to whip up:

Grilled steak on a bed of asparagus topped with red wine reduction mushroom sauce


Tomato, basila and mozzarella salad

Put the two meals together and you get:

We washed it away with the red wine I got from Jenm and Cy on my birthday last year, which is the same wine I used for the mushroom sauce. Thanks you two! (and congrats!) :)
