A recipe for dying young…

Adobong Quail eggs:
- 1 doz quail eggs
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider ( I love Bragg)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- ginger (about the size of my thumb), thinly sliced
Boil quail eggs in water for 6 minutes. Set aside to cool then peel.
Mix all ingredients and heat ‘em up in a sauce pan. Put in peeled quail eggs and simmer for 15-20 mins to let the eggs absorb the sauce.
Serve hot or cold with sprinkled parsley.
Jorey doesn’t eat eggs so I’m eating all 12 of them. Mmmm
. It’s healthier than kwek kwek, though
and I’m washing it down with freshly brewed green tea to counter the guilt.
