Credit card companies and toll free numbers
Somebody explain to me please why credit card companies in Manila like HSBC and Citibank do not have toll-free numbers. Wouldn’t one of the primary reasons you’d get a credit card from them is so you can use them overseas? What’s been annoying me is HSBC is telling me to call them collect. Who the hell knows how to call collect these days?! I have exhausted Google, Starhub and Singtel sites trying to find out how to call collect to no avail. I’d be willing to pay overseas charges calling these companies if they didn’t make me wait 10 minutes before I finally get to speak to an operator. It’s so freakin frustratin.
I applied for a balance transfer of P15k in my HSBC account and they said only P3k was approved. Why would I want to balance transfer P3k? That’s pretty stupid
