I went to a medi spa for a facial treatment on Ann Siang Road today. I’ve been living in Singapore for just a little over two months so I’m still struggling with how to get to places. I have read in fashionisspinach and from miw that Ann Siang Hill is home to a lot of cool stores so I was looking forward to going there and checking it out.
I usually get my navigation directions from www.streetdirectory.com. This time I even printed out the map so I won’t get lost because I haven’t been to that area yet. But I got lost still. Apparently getting to Ann Siang Road from the Tanjung Pagar station wasn’t so straightforward as the directions led me to believe. I had to ask directions to find out that I had to take a (secret) shortcut (apparently) not known to many.

Ann Siang Road reminds me of Europe, Malate, and the Marikina Shoe Expo. How that makes sense? – I don’t know. That’s all I can say about it for now coz I didn’t have time to really look around but I still managed to take some pictures.

The medi spa – Senses Renaza was nicely interior designed. They made me answer a few questions regarding the history of what I do with my face – which is a lot! I’ve just about tried everything. Then we went on with my promotional S$18 (usual price S$100) facial revujination. After experiencing their facial, all I can say is that I could pay S$100 for that facial. But of course there is no such thing as free lunch or super cheap facial for that matter. They gave me the “talk” about acne and stuff which I already know (probably by heart even) from everything that I have tried and read and done. Ultimately I availed of a skin treatment package from them which I’d rather not talk about so I won’t feel guilty.

OT: I’ve been asked twice for directions today. Could I be blending in already?
