Jurong Bird ParkThe Jurong Bird Park is located a bus away (194 or 251) from Boon Lay station (first station of the East-West green line). If you’re coming from Orchard or somewhere east, it’s better to take the green line to Boon Lay instead of the red to Jurong East. It is a must see for animal lovers like me and those who get amazed easily (like me too).

If you’re converting from Philippine peso, the entrance fee of S$20 ($16 for admission + $4 for the panorail) may be a bit steep for some but what the heck, you’re on vacation so make the most of it! It’s best to go there at 9 AM and get the $40 admission (exclusive of tram rides) for the birdpark, zoo and night safari. You can go to the zoo after lunch and straight to on the night safari. Always try to catch the shows and line up early so you can get a good spot. If you can come on a weekday, that would be better since there would be less people.
