I’ve always liked short edgy hairstyles like that of Linda Evangelista, Milla Jovovich, Audrey Tautou, and Omahyra (she played Arclight in X-Men 3 but I knew her from her Gap ads.) But I also know, short hair on me doesn’t look edgy at all. Edginess probably comes with the face. I prefer to wear my hair long. But my hair’s been falling out like crazy I have to vacuum the house every other day coz I leave falling hair wherever I go. It used to annoy just my mom but now even Jorey wants me to cut my hair coz it’s all over the place.

So I decided to cut it. I got a haircut for S$60.00, which translates to about P1800.00, far more than my usual P500.00 haircut with Ryan of XS Salon. The verdict: My new hairstyle looks like every other person’s hairstyle in Singapore except that I don’t have fine hair so now I look like an apple. My hair is still falling out. The bright side I see out of this is that it’s easier to give myself a hair treatment every week.

This is my before and after look.

While I was trying to look for before pictures, I realized all my pictures had my hair tied in a pony tail unless I was all made up. A made up picture of me would make my after picture really look bad since I took it just after I woke up.

Note to self: Never cut your hair on whim. Always bring a picture (I didn’t have a printer then, now I do.) specially if you’re in a foreign country where people don’t understand English.
