New housemates!

It was probably inevitable. We’re far away from Jurong Bird park but bird sounds are like white noise around here. If not for the noise of the buses stopping in front of our building, I often wake up thinking I’m in the middle of the jungle.
Last weekend, we discovered that a [...]

Chinatown New Year Countdown

Based on my River Hongbao experience, I was looking forward to the New Year countdown in Chinatown. The Chinese invented firecrackers and the countdown was gonna be televised so I figured it must be really big. I wore my vintage Bruce Lee shirt to show my participation. I brought my dslr and [...]

M. Sanchez’s “A Smart and Practical Guide for Entrepreneurs”
F. Colayco’s [...]

Gong Xi Fa Cai

As early as two weeks ago, our building already started decorating for the Chinese New Year. It’s a major event here in Singapore. (Duh!) There’s a long weekend starting on the 17th till the 20th. I heard most businesses are closed on New Year’s day itself which is the 18th. [...]
