Hope spreads on YouTube
While I was doing my rounds checking out what’s happening back home. I came across this headline in Inquirer sandwiched between “Arroyo: Wait for solons’ appeal to CGFNS before board retake” and “Filipina saves young wards from fire, gets $25,000 gift”. My first thoughts were, what Hope from the Philippines would spread on YouTube? Is there a movement trying to uplift hope in the country for our economy and politics? And then I clicked only to find out that it was James Yap and Kris Aquino’s third party to their rocky marriage.
Me, being Pinoy, of course couldn’t resist showbiz chizmiz so I searched “Hope James Yap” on YouTube and watched the interviews. It’s funny how Kris gets the public’s sympathy whether she’s the wife or the other woman. She’s really evolved to become a good actress since her what’s-that-film-Magic-something or Pido Dida. What’s funny too is how she’s so candid about everything. But what’s most hilarious of all is Hope doing an interview with Lolit talking like she’s been in showbiz all her life. She is weird. She was saying showbiz things like “gusto ko lang po matahimik na din” or “kung napatawad nyo si Kris dapat ako din.” Nyek! So many people are so into showbiz they get disillusioned and start thinking the whole world is their stage.
